My professional background spans 22 years of experience in photography, graphic, web, and multimedia design, advertising, search engine optimization and social media marketing for a wide array of businesses, large and small.

My foray into the world of marketing began in 1998 as a web design hobbyist. The internet was a new and vibrant medium, and my lifelong love of traditional art and music, combined with a passion for creative problem solving inspired me to master HTML/CSS through self-study.

This led me from print shops to publishing, where I sharpened my creative skillset as the production manager of a 128-page glossy South Florida lifestyle publication.

My career has taken me from local print shops, regional publishing, and small business marketing – to creating and managing the Paid Search division at one of NC’s largest ad agencies.

I went on to freelance for multiple Treasure Coast businesses, before relocating to Research Triangle Park, North Carolina – where I continued freelancing, co-founded a boutique wedding and portrait photography studio, and helped spearhead the internet marketing efforts of NC’s fifth largest creative firm – Rivers Agency.

My journey has continued over the years, allowing me to evolve with one of the most vibrant, exciting fields in computer technology – honing my skills as an illustrator, digital video editor, and online marketing consultant. My current role at Marketing Coordinator at one of the largest event structure companies in the nation allows me to flex my creative muscle across multiple disciplines.

From creating print collateral to designing, programming, and actively marketing a multitude of web properties – my passion for all things marketing and my personable, straight-forward consulting methods have made me an undeniable asset to a multitude of businesses – large and small.

In my spare time, I can be found enjoying the outdoors,  teaching yoga and meditation, playing live music whenever possible and, of course creating content!

October 2014 – Current | Marketing Director – TentLogix – Stuart, FL

Coordinating all marketing efforts – including the design, implementation and ongoing maintenance of company websites, producing photography/virtual tours/multimedia of event portfolio, print design, advertising strategy, web traffic analytics and implementation/maintenance of online marketing campaigns.

May 2019 – Current | IT Director – TentLogix – Stuart, FL

Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers and scanners, monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks, responding in a timely manner to service issues and requests and providing technical support across the company. Additional responsibilities include setting up accounts for new users, repairing and replacing equipment as necessary, testing new technology, and training staff members.

August 2011 – October 2014 | Web Developer/Strategist – Rivers Agency – Chapel Hill, NC

Responsibilities included development of robust CMS-driven websites (HTML/CSS/PHP/Javascript), advertising strategy, web traffic analytics and implementation/maintenance of online marketing campaigns.

August 2007 – April 2009 | Art Director – Independent Living Technologies, Inc. – Garner, NC

Managed all aspects of advertising, print, web and multimedia design for an online storefront of over 2000 products.

May 2006 – January 2007 | Art Director – BLD International, Inc. – Garner, NC

Duties included managing all aspects of branding, print, web and multimedia design for 32 international companies – ranging from an ATM distributor, an executive jet consortium dealer and a laboratory supply, service and calibration company.

September 2003 – January 2005 | Network Administrator – Premier Party Rentals – Stuart, FL

Duties included the implementation and administration of a terminal server/intranet and providing ongoing technical support to 13 users with various levels of computer proficiency, while designing national print ads and the company website.

September 2001 – February 2003 – Production Manager – VIVE Magazine – West Palm Beach, FL

Responsibilities included collecting and designing local and national ads, working closely with pre-press on all aspects of image integrity, pagination and press scheduling, organizing the work flow of multiple graphic designers and keeping the sales staff updated with all promotional materials.

January 2001 – September 2001 – Assistant Manager – AAA Digital Imaging – Atlanta, GA

Duties included hi-resolution scanning/image manipulation, color correcting and graphic design. Managed project work flow from initial scanning and duplication through printing, mounting and shipping.
